We don’t need a look at the magic ball, we don’t need animators.
Canada vacation – there is so much you can do here.
The water and the landscape offer so many possibilities.
Canoeing in the bay is a simple sport that you can quickly learn.
The water here is often very calm. Janvrin’s Point is not far – nice corner.
Pack a small picnic basket – and off you go.
Experienced water sports enthusiasts take the kayak.
Standup paddling – no problem either. If you have never been on a SUP board,
– here he can learn it without being laughed at.
Very popular is the hike in the late afternoon to Janvrin’s Point, about 4.4 km long (one route). Pack a few drinks and wait for the sunset. Don’t forget the camera – just perfect.
Cycling ? No problem. It often goes slightly uphill, but – hui – also downhill again. Mountain bikes are available for rent in the Vipilodge.
Sparkling wine breakfast or bonfire romance ?
Even fishing equipment can be found in the boathouse. Who wants to fish: at the bridge to Janvrin’s Island there should be plenty of fish.
The Canadians often sit on the bridge railing and fish … fresh fish.
Or just hike along the waterfront of the Vipilodge. Let’s see who discovers the two swings.
By the way: a swing was built in 2018 especially for the TV team of Dirk Steffens (Terra-X).
Adults can still behave like small children. On holiday, this doesn’t bother anyone !
Or how about camping ? – You are planning an excursion, e.g. to the Cabot Trail ? Just stay in the tent again. The campgrounds cost around 30,- to 35 CAN, even wild camping is allowed.
Who dares ?
A small tent equipment with table and chairs, gas cooker and sleeping bag can be rented for small money. The alternative to the 200,- en the lodge on the trail.
We would be collecting it with driftwood on the beach ? – Stack up at the jetty and then we meet in the evening for the campfire romance.
When the occasion is given: the champagne breakfast in the morning on the jetty, at sunrise …
… or the thing with the full moon ! A wonderful experience.
We are sure that you will come up with more.
And then you realize – the holiday was once again too short. Well then – Until next time!
By bike to Janvrin’s Point – to the peninsula.
A small tour to the pottery or to the scrap dealer McDonald.
Scrapyards tell a lot. What’s going on there.
Hobby photographers will find enough motifs.
Ask our Ingo where it is best to drive or hike for a long time.
And what do we do tomorrow?
Let’s go hiking ! Where?
After clicking on the next picture there are a few hiking suggestions …
